Materials Needed

You can buy the hardware kit here

Exterior Fabric
3/4 to 1 yard of fabric that is 56” wide (more for directional fabrics).
This pattern is ideal for cork, vinyl, or leather. If you choose to use a lighter weight fabric like quilting cotton, use fusible fleece or foam to add firmness/body.

Lining
1 to 1.5 yards of fabric that is 56” wide (more for directional fabrics).
A medium weight fabric, such as twill or a duck canvas, is preferred. If you use a lightweight fabric like quilting cotton, use a stabilizer like Pellon SF101 to add a little body.

Stabilizer
11” by 5” piece of heavy stabilizer. I like to use linoleum. You can also use two layers of heavyweight peltex, plastic canvas, or any other firm material you like for bag bases.

Notions
